Charred Fire Damage in Colorado Springs
The utility workshop of this Colorado Springs house suffered fire and smoke damage to the interior of the flat roof. Our SERVPRO technician, well trained and certified in fire and smoke restoration techniques used a non chemical process to remove most of the burnt wood. By blasting dry ice pellets under pressure, the abrasive and vigorous contact sheared off most of the blackened damage. There is virtually no clean up of residue, the environment has been treated to a green remediation methodology, and the service is reasonably inexpensive to the owner. The second photo shows the results of the blasting, lumber that is clean and sturdy. We then did some thermal fogging to seek out and eliminate any vestiges of smoke particulates and odors.
